Fantastic First Week Back!
P6/7 have had a very productive week back at school. We have started our new topic, World War Two & the Home Front, chosen our new Literacy Circle novels, reflected on our achievements in term 2, thought about our targets for the new term ahead and met our new buddies from P1/2! Yep, term 3 is going to be another busy and exciting term for us all!
This term in P.E. we are be going to getting some specialist handball sessions before the Handball Festival in February.
We are finishing off our 'Keeping Myself Safe' topic in Health and Well Being- well done to you all who have contributed to some fantastic (and very grown up!) discussions during this programme of work. I look forward to your responsible attitudes towards our next Health topic- Alcohol Education.
In Literacy we are going to be looking at how we can use VCOP to improve our creative & formal writing and also filling in WW2 diaries every week!
We are all working extremely hard in maths- all moving up a level and textbook. We are currently finishing off Division and moving onto Fractions, Decimals and Percentages.
I hope you are looking forward to the challenges and fun which lay ahead in term 3- keep up the hard work P6/7!
